Can I use an NHS test for travel?
No, you cannot. These tests are not recognised by international border staff or airlines. You will need to have a private covid test administered. The NHS tests are designed for people that show symptoms or believe they have come into contact with some who is COVID-19 positive. It is a misuse of government testing to use the NHS test for your travel. For travel, you require a PCR test that is stamped and signed by a verified lab and doctor, not an NHS test.
Can my passport number or other information on the certificate?
Yes, all information needed for travel will be included on the certificate as standard. Our certificates are accepted by all airlines!
What is a Covid-19 PCR test?
A Covid-19 PCR test looks for the Covid-19 virus on a swab sample collected from the back of the throat and nose. Our private Covid-19 testing is provided by world-class UKAS accredited laboratories on CE marked PCR assay machines to provide fast and reliable results.
What do I need to bring to the appointment?
Please bring your passport or passport copy. Everything else will be provided.
What if my travel plans get cancelled?
Not to worry, you can put your appointment on hold or let us know to cancel your appointment for a refund minus an administrative cancellation fee.
What if I test positive?
You will need to self-isolate and follow the government guidelines.
How long do results take?
This depends on the package you book. For example: 2 days - takes 2 days from attendance. Whereas 48 Hours takes 48 hours from attendance. And same day means that results will be issued on the same day. Upon placing a booking, the timing information will be in the booking section.
Does the clinic provide additional documents?
All results come with an RT-PCR Test Certificate accepted for travel. However, if you require additional documents you will have to contact us directly before you attend your appointment and we will confirm if this is possible.
How do I know the travel regulations of the county I am travelling to?
Please check on the government website or ask your airlines for the most up to date information. It is your responsibility to check this before travelling.
